MISSING is a cost-free investigative adventure wherein you will venture into a detective journey aiming to unravel the mystery behind your friend’s sudden disappearance. Developed by C2PHOS, this indie game offers you about five endings to freely explore. Keep in mind that it’s a visual novel game that depicts blood and needles. 

Yandere gameplay elements can also be sought in MISSING’s gameplay. On top of that, it displays dark humor suggesting a little comedic side to the storyline. Unfortunately, this game only grants a short experience of 10 to 15 minutes of playtime.

The urge to investigate in the MISSING game will start with Petunia, your character, hopelessly looking at the missing poster of your friend attached to the notebook. Thinking that the police search is not going anywhere especially knowing that it's handled by small town shortstaffed and incompetent local officers, you then decided to take matters into your hands and begin the inspection yourself. 

You will start probing the person named Cro whom you find most suspicious. To draw more truthful answers from him, you’ll decide to disguise yourself as the case’s detective. Choices will be prompted on your screen, depending on your selection you can opt to proceed with the investigation or back out which will allow you to achieve the first ending.  

To obtain the other four endings, you must pick the “Continue” option and proceed to inquest Cro, sneakily navigate his house, or even ask him on a date to gain further clues. This is a quick play that can give chills down to your bones, especially with the engrossing dialogue exchange between Petunia and Cro. It also displays an immersive visual art that precisely suggests the atmosphere of the scenes.
